About Master Lim's happy martial arts
Training Traditional Taekwondo
The origin of Taekwondo is deeply rooted in Korean history and culture. A strong beginning is essential when learning something new, and we are here to guide you from the basics all the way to advanced levels so you can achieve your goals with confidence. As you build proper strength and technique, you’ll progress more easily and quickly as a martial artist. With us, you’ll experience authentic, traditional Taekwondo — the way it was meant to be learned.
Our classes
Becoming a member of Master Lim’s Happy Martial Arts means joining our family. We do more than teach martial arts — Master Lim serves as a life coach, guiding you and your children toward personal growth and success. Your kids will develop discipline, confidence, and a positive mindset that will benefit them for life.
At Master Lim’s Happy Martial Arts, we offer a wide range of Taekwondo classes for all ages and skill levels — from beginners to advanced students. Our programs are designed to build strength, flexibility, and overall fitness while teaching valuable self-defense skills.
Our Instructors
Located in New Jersey, Master Lim is a proud graduate of Yong-In University in South Korea and holds multiple martial arts achievements: a 5th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, 2nd Dan Black Belts in both Judo and Yongmudo, and a 1st Dan Black Belt in Special Martial Arts earned during two years of service in the Army Special Forces. Since opening our doors, Master Lim has been dedicated to transforming the minds and lives of our students through the power of martial arts.
At our school, we welcome open-minded and motivated students who are eager to challenge themselves and grow. In addition to offering a comprehensive curriculum that meets a variety of learning goals, we focus on building confidence, discipline, and the mindset needed to tackle real-world challenges.
